Raymond Federman (natural 1928) is an American novelist & academician, known besides for poetry, essays, translations & criticism. He held positions at a State University of New York at Buffalo from 1973 to 1999, where he is nowadays Distinguished Retired Prof.

He was natural around France, coming to the America inside 1947. He emigrated to the U.S. around 1947. He exposed at Columbia University, and as a graduate at U.C.L.A., where he took a doctorate in comparative literature on Samuel Beckett.
